Jack Rosenthal has been appointed as the new Interim Director of the Roosevelt House Public Policy Institute at Hunter College. Rosenthal succeeds Jonathan Fanton, who after five years at Roosevelt House is leaving to become President of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.  Rosenthal has led a distinguished career as a journalist, editor and executive at The New York Times, where he won a Pulitzer Prize for editorial writing. In 2000, Rosenthal became President of The New York Times Company Foundation, and in 2010 was appointed Senior Fellow at the Atlantic Philanthropies.
