About:
Laszlo LeCroy is a senior Roosevelt Scholar studying political science, public policy, economics, and philosophy. He is passionate about law, education, and social justice. He is particularly interested in consumer protection and hopes to help create a world where companies pursue their incentives in ways that are not socially detrimental. He is currently interning with the NYS Attorney General’s Office mediating consumer complaints. He was recently accepted into Teach For America and after he graduates, he plans on either teaching or working in the legal field for two years before eventually going to law school. He is drawn to teaching and law for the same core reason: a desire to combat exploitation. Whether he is empowering students with the skills to advocate for themselves or representing people who have been taken advantage of, he is committed to helping others navigate systems that too often exploit them.
